Feb 21, 2016· Glass scales have to be shipped.. Where I live, a good chance of getting glass powder. The glass scales are BULKY. I would lose a 1/2 in of Y axis travel on my mill. A neat clean install, is very easy with a scale only around .375 thick.. Glass scales have a zipper type rubber seal. Seal wears/rips, crap gets on scale.

How can I drill a hole in tempered glass without shattering it? Is it even possible? The hole only needs to be around 1/4" in diameter, nothing crazy huge. ...
